Weapons

Unlike with Mages, players can have the chance to own an unlimited number of Weapons. Each weapon is a player-owned NFT represented by MGW ERC-721 Token.

Each weapon comes with a random element, and the random rarity is represented by the number of stars it possesses. The rarity of the weapon determines how many attributes it has and the value these attributes can unleash.

Weapon usage is not tied to one character, so one weapon can be wielded by all four of your characters.

Weapon Minting

Minting weapons serve as the main NFP sink of the game along with Reinforcement. All NFP spent on the mint will be sent to the contract handling fight payouts. The rarity of a weapon is randomly determined upon minting. Currently the rates of each rarity is as follows:

  • 1% chance for a 5th star weapon

  • 5% chance for a 4th star weapon

  • 15% chance for a 3rd star weapon

  • 35% chance for a 2nd star weapon

  • 44% chance for a 1st star weapon

There is currently no pity system or a form of guarantee that a specific number of rolls will yield a particular weapon's rarity.

Weapon Elements

The element of a weapon is randomly determined upon minting. Weapons share the same elements as characters (Earth, Water, Fire, Air).

The elemental advantage in regards to character against enemy is as follows:

  • Fire beats Earth

  • Earth beats Air

  • Air beats Water

  • Water beats Fire
